Terms of sale

These Terms govern the distance sale, by electronic means, of downloadable digital editorial products. The catalog marketed on app.expatriation.io is evolving and includes in particular:

• Editorial guides by expatriation corridor: PDF documents presenting the tax, social, and cultural framework of a given expatriation corridor (for example France-Switzerland).
• Detailed salary simulation reports: PDF documents generated on demand, presenting a personalized simulation of net salary in a given jurisdiction based on the parameters entered by the customer (gross compensation, family status, sub-jurisdiction).

Each product is the subject of a detailed description on its dedicated page, accompanied by the price applicable at the time of the order.

Ordering is carried out by redirection to the secure Stripe payment platform via a Stripe Payment Link. The customer enters their delivery email address and proceeds with online payment. Before finalization, the customer is invited to expressly confirm that they have read and accepted these Terms as well as the Privacy Policy, and that they waive their right of withdrawal in accordance with Article 7.

The order is final only upon effective receipt of payment by Stripe.

Payment is exclusively made online, via the Stripe platform. The payment service provider is:

No banking data transits through EXPATRIATION.IO systems. The accepted payment methods are those offered by Stripe at the time of the order (major bank cards, SEPA direct debits depending on configuration, compatible electronic wallets).

In accordance with Article L221-28 13° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for contracts for the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the performance of which has begun after the consumer's prior express consent and express waiver of the right of withdrawal.

When placing an order, the customer expressly accepts, by ticking the box provided for this purpose on the payment page, that delivery of the digital product begins immediately after payment. The customer thus acknowledges losing the 14-day right of withdrawal for downloaded products.

The marketed products benefit from the applicable legal warranties:

• Legal warranty of conformity: Articles L217-3 and following of the French Consumer Code.
• Warranty against hidden defects: Articles 1641 and following of the French Civil Code.

Any complaint must be sent to contact@expatriation.io specifying the order reference.

The marketed products (PDF files) are protected by copyright. Purchase grants the customer a strictly personal and non-exclusive license to use. Any reproduction, redistribution, public availability, or commercial use is strictly prohibited without prior written authorization from the publisher.

The delivered files may include technical markers allowing traceability of any unauthorized distribution. Any unauthorized distribution or redistribution of a purchased product may be subject to legal proceedings on the basis of copyright law and may result in civil and criminal liability for the offender.

These Terms are governed by French law.

In the absence of an amicable resolution and after possible recourse to consumer mediation, any dispute relating to their performance or interpretation may be brought, at the choice of the consumer client, before the court of the place where they resided at the time of the conclusion of the contract or the occurrence of the event giving rise to liability, or before the court of the publisher's place of residence (Paris, France).
