🇬🇳 Guinea

Guinea taxes salaries through the RTS (retenue sur les traitements et salaires), the withholding mechanism of the ITS, using a monthly 6-band scale from 0% to 20% (art. 63 of the 2022 CGI, Law L/2021/032/AN); the withholding is final (art. 64). The taxable base is gross pay minus the 5% employee CNSS contribution, whose base is capped at 2,500,000 GNF per month (arts. 57-58); the former 20% lump-sum abatement (art. 59) has been repealed since 2022. The 2026 State budget operates on provisional twelfths, which carries the existing scale forward.
