Tax system in Cameroon

Cameroon has 4 progressive income tax brackets (IRPP) from 10% to 35%, with a 30% standard deduction for professional expenses. A quotient familial system applies. An additional 10% communal surcharge (CAC) is levied on the IRPP. Employee CNPS contributions total 5.2%: pension at 4.2% (capped at 750,000 XAF/month) and housing fund at 1%.
